My father was admitted to Hammersmith hospital for a heart bypass, he spent a total of five weeks in various wards from a8, then intensive care, then a9. His consultant was world class, but ver good personal skills, advising patients of their options and seeing them personally after surgery. Not proud, but very professional. The nurses in each ward were excellent doing their very best. Truly vocational. Had time for a smile, and treated each patient like an individual. Great care. Got there at 4 am to find all but a few doors were open. Excellent security. The hospital was also very clean, having been there to visit every day for five weeks.I can't say enough for this hospital except that they are all wonderful. Very well done.
