I was admitted to Northern General Hospital at the end of April 2009 having had a stroke. The medical care I received was excellent especially from the consultant and the staff. However, the information given by the nursing staff on the ward could have been better. Important matters were all ok though. The only problem I had is with food but to be fair I have had a problem swallowing food for 10 years now.
