"Mixed experience at the Peggy Cole unit in Ipswich"

I was sent to the Peggy Cole unit for an emergency scan as i was having bleeding in my pregnancy.

The nurses were lovely and i couldn't fault their support but i was not happy with the consultant i had when they did the scan. He sat there and just said your "baby is dead" and that was it.

Then he said he wanted to do a D&C but i told them i didn't want it. Anyway i didn't have one and was admitted to hospital 3 weeks later with heavy bleeding to be told the pregnancy was definitely over.

i wanted my scan pictures to keep to help me get over my loss and was told i couldn't have them. i was really upset by this.
