"Nothing was too much trouble"

I stayed over night at Medway after an operation yesterday and the staff were wonderful. Very friendly, helpful and ready to do anything to help me be more comfortable. There were cleaning staff who whistled or sang when working, indicating they where happy and certainly appeared to be thorough in their job. Even though Medway were on the news, for being in special measures and apparently failing, the very morning I was admitted I knew I had nothing to worry about. I had a different operation almost exactly a year ago and stayed on a different ward and still received wonderful care. I've also had a baby delivered at Medway (4years ago) and again I couldn't fault the care given. I think the staff are doing the best they can with a very old building that needs some major maintenance doing. The building and it's size just can't cope with the amount of patients, just like every doctors surgery right now. Thank you Medway for taking good care of me once again :)
