Attending an appointment at the QE2 this week, although there were not many people waiting to be seen six including myself the appointment was delayed by one hour forty minutes. The staff were not helpful almost a couldn't be bothered attitude when I asked to borrow a pen to complete a form in the corridor standing up the reply was haven't you got a pen. Once I was able to see a Gynaecology consultant , although my appointment was with the Dr I only got to see their assistant who was not very knowledgeable or sympathetic the whole appointment was a tick box exercise and I was given a minimum three month referral for my symptom's to be considered by the board although I have been waiting since August. I found the whole experience upsetting and quite depressing. Further more the Gynaecology assistant after my examination although wearing gloves proceeded to leave the room for assistance and upon their return never changed their gloves and continued to examine me I wanted to speak out but felt uneasy to do so.
