About: Colchester General Hospital

I came in to A&E with my father on the 26th of November as he was seriously ill. I have been reading about the problems the Hospital has had but my families experience was not at all what I expected. Everyone we saw was really kind and professional. The Ambulance drivers were brilliant and reassuring and when we got to the A&E we were seen straight away by a lovely sister who started dads treatment immediately. We had a male nurse looking after us who was very cheerful and professional and kept us informed and involved in the process. We want to thank all of the Nurses and Doctors we met they were all very kind, knowlegable and communicative. Well done.
