My partner has just received a parking fine even though I paid for 4 hours and only stayed an hour and a half. We will not be paying the £40 (which goes up to £70 if not paid within 14 days). I do not have the ticket as proof (who keeps a parking ticket for 2 weeks) but I do have witnesses that I paid £3.50 for 4 hours of parking.
