"Kept informed at the Gynaecology Clinic"

About: Ayrshire Central Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

We were informed by the nurse that the Consultant was running late due to an emergency. This was good information and it was up to us as patients whether to wait or reschedule our appointments. I waited which was less than hour and straight away the Consultant apologised.

My options at the clinic were well addressed and informed in plain English so that I could understand my problem. I was happy with the outcome and went home contented.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear Rascal59,

I am so pleased to hear your experience was exactly what we want everyone to experience. Not the delays of course but the communication level. I will be very happy to pass this on to the team and let them know how helpful this was to you.

Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know,

Kind regards,

Eunice
