(as the patient),

I have been trying to get an appointment at Bradley Stoke Surgery for a month now.

You either can que up or phone between 8.00 and 9.30. I have a small baby and cannot que up with him, so I have been trying to call every morning, the phone is constantly engaged between 8 and 9.30, when I finally get through I am told that I am calling too late and that I need to call earlier as there are now no appointments left. When I say that I have been trying to call for the last hour and a half, I am then told, well we have been busy.

I do not want to que with my baby with all the sick people needing an appointment. I do not know what to do.

I would like to recommend that you contact your local NHS Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) for more help. They can be contacted on 0800 073 0907 (freephone) or by email.
