"My radiotherapy sessions are a bit irregular"

About: Castle Hill Hospital / Clinical oncology

(as the patient),

My radiotherapy started just before Easter and will cover three sets of Bank holiday Mondays. The Monday treatments are being given on Saturdays, meaning some weeks there are 6 sessions and the following week only 4.

Would it not make more sense to give treatment on the Mondays? Thus ensuring even treatment and avoiding the extra burn incurred with the 6th treatment.
