"Long live the NHS"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / General surgery

(as the patient),

I have had 2 operations in the last few years for slipped discs and this month I had a cataract removed. All of these have been at the QMC. I would just like to say how much I admire all the hospital staff for their great kindness and patience. I really admired them all and was very grateful for all their care and attention. Only one thing that I thought was not up to standard was the food. I thought that could have been more appetizing as it was more or less tasteless and a sandwich I had was still frozen. I am able to eat most things, but I must say this was beyond a joke. That was a couple of years ago so perhaps hopefully it has improved by now. Other than that I say long live the NHS.
