"My husband was dealing with a jaw bone infection"

About: NHS 111

(as a relative),

My husband had a tooth out 5 days before. He does not make a fuss but he was

in so much pain he asked me to ring (I could not ring in the morning as I had migraine).

I got through after being cut off the 1st time, I rang. I had to give my name, and his details and that I would be talking for him, then they wanted to talk to him instead. He could hardly open his mouth. This went on and on, and was told someone would ring us, went through it all again, she said he needed to ring at 7. 10 am next morning at Cambridge and Peterborough out of hours service, the person would send everything over.

Next morning rang, are you a paramedic? Our service was down yesterday your have to ring 111. Went through it all again. My husband by now was hurting so much. My husband told the person to read the notes on the computer. We will ring you back, I will send paperwork over by fax, they will ring you, waited and waited they rang the dentist is off sick you can see a gp for pain management. We rang dentist monday and he has a jaw bone infection can you imagine how much pain he is in, and having to wait extra two days for tablets?
