"Care given pre surgery and post susrgery"

I feel so strongly about writing a review about the care given to me by my surgeon and his team, I had major surgery in October '14, whilst leading up to this I had been in the system for a while before diagnosis was confirmed and action to be taken. Pre Op was brilliant especially as both me and my son ( who took me in) were very nervous,my surgeon took time out to speak with my son, whilst I was with the anesthetist. My care in recovery and intensive one to one care given was second to none, my surgeon came to see me several times after surgery and the morning of me moving to the ward and again before I was sent home, not just the ward doctor. My stay was comfortable and my after care has been excellent, I had to go into A & E a few days later with a suspected blood clot and the team here were brilliant, up against it, but still showed true commitment and professionalism.
