I called 111 at 10: 15pm as I got suden abdo pain around my umbilical hernia site, they sent a paramedic who examined me and told me the hernia could be getting strangulated, she then did my BP and told me it is extremely high she repeated it four times and said she has to call for an ambulance as my BP is very high and that I am at a very high risk of getting a stroke so an ambulance came and to me to queens hospital Romford, my BP was done again by triage nurse and was told it's still high and was told to go and sit in the minors waiting room where there is no chair to sit on as waiting room is very full, by 2: 30 am I was still waiting standing up in the waiting room and still had not been seen, I'm was fuming and my BP must have been sky high. Thanks Queens, but I find this waiting totally unacceptable, there is very little staff here and doesn't seem to be not enough doctors, even if it's a mater of life and death I will never attend Queens hospital again.
