"are you people in cloud cockoo land?"

after a fall last oct.......i tried to get an appointment at my drs.....ring back next week..................3 weeks later, still no appointment at dr....

i changed surgerys.

10 days to get an appointment......nice dr....he rang A&E and sent me streight there for x-ray.......................4 weeks later the x-ray made it back to the dr's .......2 weeks more to make appointment.....saw another dr as last one had left.......she said .....maybe botox injections

in the nerves and muscles might help the pain.......said she would send me to the pain clinic........................3 weeks after that i got a letter saying there is a NEW SYSTEM for appointments set up called "choose and book"

FINALLY got thru to "choose and book".........only one place for me to go.......fair enough..........but they couldnt book appointment as have no appointments...........

so after a long winded conversation for 15 mins ....at least a quid on the phone ........with their stupid 0845 numbers! explaining how the system worked and about goverment targets... soforth and so on....

all of it was complete twaddle!!!!!

the "choose and book chap" told me ...the hospital appointment people would get in touch with me in 5 days and if the havnt contacted in 2 weeks to go back to my doctors and tell her that i need to make an appointment to go to the pain clinic

WELL MR BROWN.........COULD YOU TELL ME AGAIN HOW THIS NEW BOOKING SYSTEM IS GOING TO MAKE IT EASYER TO BOOK APPOINTMENTS??????????????
