The Older People's Day at Park House was a great help to me. The first person asked for my walking stick and adjusted it for me. Now there is no strain on my shoulder. Then I saw the Occupational Therapist and she gave me the phone number for the City Occupational Therapist and they have sent someone to arrange for the steps at the back of my house to be adjusted. I am also getting a hand rail. I used a packet of heel balm that was given to me which has really helped to get rid of the hard skin on my heels. Also, I received good information from the police service.

It's fantastic to see that bringing services together and working in an integrated way like this has made a real difference to people. It's great to hear your shoulder feels better, and that you're getting helpful alterations to your home as a result of attending. The feedback from this day has been really positive and we are hoping to make it an annual event. We hope to see you at the next one!

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments, and I am delighted that you had such a positive experience with all the services you came into contact with.

It is hoped that it will become an annual event and that we can hold similar days at other venues.
