(as the patient),

I was diagnosed with uterine cancer in 2008 which was a devastating experience. However, the care, advice and consideration I received from all members of staff on the Georgina Ward was exceptional.

Everyone who works in this department should feel enormously proud of the work they do; these people help you to stay positive and help you to cope with the traumatic diagnosis that cancer is.

All of you have my thanks and admiration.
