"Gynaecology Appointment"

My original Gynaecology appointment reserved on 27/08/2014 has been cancelled and rebooked for 6/10/2014. I received a letter with no explanation why previous appointment was cancelled. I attended to the hospital and was asked to do two blood test and HSG examination which I did. I have rang Gynaecology department on Monday (3/11/14) and again on 4/11/14 to find out what the results are. I was told my consultant is very busy and as soon as they have manage to look at my scan results somebody will give me a call. I also wanted to book my next appointment to see consultant to discuss the problem but I was told that they cant book me in yet. I will get letter thorough the post which means I can get letter 2 months later for next year appointment. I would like to mention as well that when I attended to my appointment I had to wait extra one hour even that I waited nearly 5 months already. When I mentioned to the receptionist that I am still here and I haven't been seen by doctor I was referred me a different consultant who knew nothing about the concern. The outcome is I am still waiting to hear about my results, I hope somebody contact me soon to discuss it with me and book me in to see a doctor.

We are really sorry that you have had such a disappointing experience of the Trust. We do have some problems with our outpatient booking system and are currently working really hard to get this sorted.
