About: Colchester General Hospital

Following an appointment on 8th October, (Gastroenterology) at the hospital, I was then able that day to visit the Elmstead Day unit to arrange a Colonoscopy appointment for the 21st October. This is excellent service. The pre- operation paperwork was very clear and helpful. The Colonoscopy was then actioned with care and the nursing staff could not have been more caring and attentive. The ward layout was good. The recovery process was peaceful. The After- care leaflet was excellent. The discharge procedure was thorough. Well Done to all!
