"Hip hip hooray for Barnsley Hospital"

I wish to express my thanks to the hospitals hard working and dedicated team. I had hip replacement surgery and the care and support I received from the staff on ward 34E, theatres, and recovery was exceptional. I was treated as an individual with my own unique care needs and at all times my dignity and general well being was paramount. Throughout my stay in hospital I was treated with kindness, compassion, and empathy by all the staff who engaged with me, whether doctor, nurse, or all of the support services. I am on the road to recovery due to the foundations laid by the hospitals team of conscientious wonderful staff. I would be happy to mention the names of the staff involved in my care for recognition but would not wish to breech their confidentiality. Thank you Barnsley Hospital.
