(as the patient),

I had a hernia opperation on 9th april in rotherham hospital Dr lambertz was my consultant i had key hole surgery and had no problems with the opperation was home the same day and back at work after 2 weeks. All the staff and doctors were helpfull and explained every thing to me.only complaint i have is food was not very good and i recieved my letter to go into hospital after i had come home.

Thank you for sharing your experience on this website and I am very pleased to read that your operation was a success and that you received plenty of information. Please be assured that I have passed your kind words to Mr Lambertz and I am sure they will be gratefully received.

I am however sorry to read of your concerns regarding the food provided while you were in hospital and that there was some delay with your letter. I have passed this to the Manager of our Operational Services division.
