"Outpatient experience"

About: Lister Hospital

Attended ENT outpatient less then to be desired. Would not recommend as a paediatric patient the waiting area was overcrowded not enough toys or designated play area for young children. Seemed very busy too many clinics running at the same time and not enough seating space for patients. During consultation the PC with results was in different room so medical staff had nothing to report back to us. When staff member returned we weren't told enough or results explained clearly to us. Felt rushed and all our questions were returned with 'don't know'. Referred to specialist who totally contradicted their results which had left us with 4 weeks of unnecessary worry.

We're really sorry for the experience you've had, but wonder if you'd be happy to get in touch with us at generalenquiries.enh-tr@nhs.net so we can put you in touch with the ENT team? In this way, they can understand what happened from your perspective so that lessons can be learnt - we hope that you give us that chance.
