"I fail to see the reason for DART's involvement "

(as the patient),

I went to see my GP in October and was told to ring DART in order to obtain a referral appointment. I rang them and found out that I had 4 locations to choose from, from which I selected Newton Abbot. I was then told that I would have to wait roughly 4 weeks for an appointment and that I would have to ring back to make an appointment at another time.

Ultimately I fail to see the point of this process and the reason for DART’s involvement.

I am very sorry that you have been unable to secure an appointment as yet; I can understand why you would be frustrated.

I’m afraid that from the detail you have given in your post, I cannot tell why we were not able to give you an appointment. What you have said doesn’t match any of our processes that I’m aware of so I’m a bit confused. If you would like me to investigate and give you a fuller explanation of what’s happened, I would be more than happy to do so.
