"A private hospital could not have treated me better"

About: University Hospital Ayr / General Surgery

(as the patient),

I had a small operation in the Day Surgery unit at the Ayr Hospital and I must say Miss Gibson, the doctors and staff were excellent. Their empathy and kindness were absolutely fabulous, a private hospital could not have treated me better. Nobody could have managed to provide better care than this team.

I am delighted your experience was such a good one and I hope you are completely recovered now. As a ‘very long in the tooth’ NHS employee, I have always believed that each person deserves to be treated the same way irrespective of where their care is provided privately or in the NHS and I am glad this has been your experience.
