About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / General surgery

(as the patient),

I was admitted to Wynard Ward at the RD &E last Friday. I cannot speak too highly about the care I received. Everyone from the consultants, nurses and all the auxillary staff were warm, friendly and always professional. My after care after the surgery on the Friday was five star. Whoever said it was not a good idea to have surgery on a Friday is doing a huge disservice to so many. I have many months of treatment ahead of me but have had my confidence boosted by my recent experience so a huge thank you to you all.
