"The two nurses put me at ease"

About: Dewsbury Health Centre / Podiatry

(as the patient),

When I was greeted by Karen in the waiting room, I felt very welcomed. I was very nervous, but Sarah and Karen, the two nurses put me at ease. Before the surgery took place, Sarah had a little chat with me about whether I wanted both feet doing, but they didn't put any pressure on me, they would do it either way. I chose just the one. I don't like injections but they made it a lot easier to deal with. They were very informative & talked through the procedure. After the operation they bandaged it up & booked me an appointment for redressing in 2 days time. Overall they made the ordeal run a lot more smoothly & maybe would have the other toe done if I was able to see these two nurses again. Thankyou. Xx

It's understandable to feel nervous whilst having a medical procedure so all our staff are aware of this, so deal with patients in a way to but them at ease whilst encouraging informed decision making.

Your comments are really useful and have been passed on to Sarah and Karen.

Thank you.
