Mr Radley, consultant, fabulous: listened carefully, informed me clearly of all options, and worked with me to decide the best way to progress with my treatment: thank you Mr Radley! Pre-op clinic, hospital stay in F2, and post-op phase (to date) all extremely positive experiences. Staff in F1 and F2 very supportive and helpful and the atmosphere on the wards warm and friendly. A special acknowledgement to Clare who helped me through the first night after my op. Lucky to be in own room with shower and stunning view.

Food variable: okay on some occasions, grim on others, especially when overcooked and dry, and not much choice of fresh fruit. Written info supplied at every stage, with contact details if further help/advice needed. Great to have the opportunity to 'share my story' but aware that people responding to initiatives like Patient Opinion tend to have had very positive or very negative experiences - concerned that the 'average' experience is not being captured!
