"Children's waiting Room"

About: Whipps Cross University Hospital

We took our 18month old to A&E on 02/11/14 at 10.30am we were taken through the registration process fairly efficiently and then advised to wait in the children's waiting room. As soon as I went in I asked he desk in the children's waiting room, do we just wait to be called the Nurse said yes. So we waited for over an hour before we realised other people before us were being called. When I enquired I was advised that the member of staff who registered us had not hit the correct button for my sons information to come up on the children waiting list. To make matters worse I was accused of not registering. Therefore if you are advised to go into the children's ward, I would advise that you make sure you child's name has come through to there computer before you start waiting for hours!!
