"Kingfisher Ward... One word amazing!"

About: Dorset County Hospital

From start to finish my little one was made to feel so special by all. Ward was clean, calm and staff were really helpful - we arrived with nothing! School/play worker was excellent too - my little one would have stayed and played longer. My only moan would be the wait for a prescription after discharge, which always seems to take forever as I remember from maternity :) but that's a minor detail !

Thank you for such lovely comments on how well the staff on Kingfisher ward cared for you and your child; I will make sure this is shared with the team. It is really worrying as a parent to see your child poorly and so I am particularly pleased that you felt our staff cared for you as well. I note your comments regarding delays in getting your prescription and would like to assure you that this is an area that is receiving a lot of attention at present as the service is not always as quick as we would want it to be.
