"Accident treatment. Thank you NHS Scotland"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital (Paisley)

(as the patient),

After stupidly falling and bruising/cutting my forehead I was taken to the RAH Paisley for treatment. Despite a longish wait (3hrs+) the A+E doctor was superb. She was very informative and patched me up very efficiently.

Thank you NHS Scotland... a very grateful patient.

I work in a small team in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde which seeks to involve patients and carers in the work of the NHS. The biggest part of my role is in managing feedback projects across the Board area, one of which is Patient Opinion. It is my job to give our patients and carers the opportunity to give us feedback, and to make sure that this is passed to the right people to help us improve the services we provide.

Dear chamar,

Thank you for taking the time to highlight your recent experience at the Royal Alexandra Hospital - I'm glad you were treated well and felt looked after, despite the wait you had. The staff at the A&E department will be really pleased to hear such positive feedback and I will make sure this is passed on to them.

I hope you have fully recovered from your fall and would like to thank you again for getting in touch.

Best Wishes,

Lorna
