"My Stay(s)"

It was a couple of days ago that a situation occurred when I remembered having a conversation about writing reviews about hospitals- like trip advisor :') and I wanted to leave one too (mostly because I think some are slightly unfair.) I've had two admissions in the past, and the first didn't really go to plan but I think that was more to do with the headspace I was in rather than the staff, I didn't work with them and saw them as the enemy. But it doesn't get you anywhere. On my second admission I really wanted to try with it and not give in before I even tried, I found several things to be helpful, some of which I try to use now when things get tough, and even though hospital isn't a fun place, staff made it seem a little more lighthearted. I must say I didn't appreciate it until I discovered the catastrophe that is an adult ward... But anyway, if I could I'd give a big thumbs up to most of the staff and let them know that they're doing fab! Even the bank staff were fab most of the time. And the negative reviews are probably people like me on my first admission who hated everything to do with help. I'm not saying there weren't any bad things but let's all use our skills and focus on the positives ;) Thank you, Newberry staff on and off the ward! Looking back I definitely appreciate it a lot more than I did back then, thanks for caring and being tough when I needed it :P Cheers me dears! Happy nursing :)
