"Unable to get a Urgent follow up appointment as..."

I recently broke and dislocated my ankle, I was airlifted to the nearest hospital (Preston royal) where I was treated over four days involving a operation to my ankle, a follow up appointment is needed for the removal of sutures and for follow up X-rays and an assessment of weight-bearing status two weeks after the operation, that date is tomorrow 01/11/14, the follow up appointment was agreed to take place at liverpool royal as I live in liverpool. after not receiving an appointment through the post by 28/10/14 I started ringing both Preston and livepool, Preston confirmed they had sent the referral docs and that they would resend them then ring Liverpool to make sure they had received the documents via fax and that I should receive an appointment ASAP, after still not receiving an appoint on the 30/10/14 I started making phone calls yet again, Liverpool are still playing ignorant informing me that they have received no referral documents, I'm chasing it up and both ends Ward 16 in Preston and speaking to the secutary for a Consultant who is to be my consultant at Liverpool royal for said follow up appointment. I'm now left at home with no appoiment, a cast on my leg with a pinned and plated bone which for all I know could not be healing properly, all the while I'm off work receiving no sickpay, I can't afford to be left at home in the dark. Unless you have a foot pointing the wrong way the NHS a is a big let down.
