"A&E for abdominal pain"

Dr treated me in A&E on 30.10.14 for acute abdominal pain. She was very thorough and kind. My treatment was quick and efficient. My nurse in the observation unit was equally good. My only constructive feedback is that staff in A&E were very loud in discussing their personal issues and making jokes that didn't convey they were focused on their work. A male nurse who was a manager of some degree discussed his personal life. There was a different man (again some sort of manager) who spoke extremely loudly about patients and whether they'd been seen in under 4 hours. He was loud and cold in his approach. It did not make me feel cared for despite the compassion that my direct care providers had shown me.
