"Treated For Bells Palsy 5/10/2014"

About: Macclesfield District General Hospital

Well three weeks ago I woke to my horror with my face and mouth all dropped to my right side. My eye didn't blink. So off to Macclesfield A & E. What a brilliant service and care I got. The doctor and Nurse from coming in to going home were A1. Told me it was a condition called Bells Palsy and gave me the steroids that was needed within the first 72 hours. I am convinced that there fast and helpful service means that I am now recovering every day and after 3 weeks a very good improvement. Made me feel at ease as was quickly told it was not a stroke. Thanks again brilliant service hope not to see you again to soon. Chris Worthington.

Please accept our sincere thanks for taking the time to comment on your experiences while being cared for at A&E. It's great to hear you were so pleased with the service provided. We will feed back your comments to the staff concerned and I'm sure it will mean a lot to them.
