"A complete end to end service"

About: Salisbury District Hospital

My episode started on leavin the gym, when I felt clammy. I managed to get myself home, hoping it would pass, it didn't. So I dialled 999 the operator stayed on the line until the paramedic arrived, this was reassuring. The paramedic took over diagnosed a heart attack, the ambulance arrived and I was whisked away to Salisbury cardic unit. There I was taken care by a great team and astent was inserted whilst I was still conscious all very incredible. I was shown the before and after photographs. Amazing. I was then taken to recovery. All this happened in about 90 mins. Recovery kept me plied with tea until a bed was ready on the ward again great care on the ward. This happened on Friday morning and I was discharged on Sunday lunch time. Everybody involved put the word "team" into teamworking

Thank you for your comment and we are pleased that all parts of the NHS looked after you so professionally and efficiently in what was clearly a serious situation for you. I know the teams here are always grateful for comments such as yours and will pass on your kind words to them. In the meantime, we wish you well in your continued recovery.
