"Safari Ward"

About: Lincoln County Hospital

My son Max was admitted onto Safari Ward for the removal of several teeth. He was very anxious, but a nurse took time to speak with him and to answer his questions. We were seen quite quickly and were kept informed of what was going to happen next. Max was provided with a portable DVD player and a selection of age appropriate films to watch while in recovery. I would say his experience was made as comfortable as possible. Thank you to everyone on Safari Ward :-) Zoe

Thank you for telling us about Max’s experience on Safari Ward. It sounds like he was very brave and I am delighted that the team helped him overcome his fears and anxieties. It was very kind of you to take the time to give us your views on Safari Ward. We work hard to ensure that our young people are well cared for and it is lovely when we get feedback to tell us that we have got it right.
