"Fantastic staff in the maternity unit."

About: Poole General Hospital

I had my baby in June, had a routine MW appt at 37 wks, i was sent to ANDA as BP was high and protine in urine i had further test and was told i had pre eclampisa. I was told i was having my baby that day and there was no time for an induction as you can imagine this was a huge shock for me, but the staff were hugely supportive and caring and reasured me my baby was fine and waited for my partner to arrive at the hospital before taking me down to theatre i wish i could remember names but unfortunatly i cant but id like to say a huge thank you to the day staff that were on duty on 3rd June and the ones that took over for the night shift in the delivery suite. And a huge thank you to the ANDA staff that were on too. I stayed in hospital 4 nights in total 1 night on the delivery suite the rest of the time on post natal ward. The staff through out my stay were very helpful and friendly again i wish i could remember names but i cant but a huge thank you to those that worked between the 4th June and 7th June. And the breast feeding support you get in incredible and they were always round to offer you tea and toast in the mornings ☺ The toilets and showers were always clean and the wards in general were always clean. Overall although my birth experience was not the one i had planed for or even though id have the staff were just amazing i cant thank them enough.
