Dr Shroff told me what he was doing once the problem was diagnosed. On closer examination, he wasn't satisfied that he knew the total area which needed removing, so he took two biopsies, He said as soon as he had the results he would let me know. He rang me to say that the news was good - the biopsies were negative and there would be no need for a skin graft.
The operation was performed expertly and the wound stitched without leaving an unsightly scar. Throughout, the consideration I was given by all staff was excellent.
