"Cancer Centre, University Hospital of North..."

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital

My husband was treated for chronic myeloid leukaemia. He was contacted the same day that his blood result was received. He was admitted to hospital and had various tests. He was started on medication and was discharged 3 days later and will be an out-patient for the rest of his life. He is extremely grateful for all the staff at the Haematology Department and has excellent care.

We really appreciate you finding the time to provide feedback on your husband’s treatment. I am pleased that your experience with the Haematology department was very positive, both from the laboratory and ward staff. It is very reassuring that we are doing well especially from a patient’s perspective.

I have passed on your comments to all the staff and they all wish the best for your husband’s recovery. Thank you once again for your positive feedback.

Kind regards
