"varicose vein surgery"

I was admitted for varicose vein surgery on the 21/10/2014 and I was worried about the procedure and was reassured from start to finish of what was going to happen. I would like to give a massive thank you to the surgeon who performed my operation and came onto the day surgery ward to talk to me before the operation I would also like to say thank you to the anaesthetist who also reassured me and also came to see me on the ward and went through the procedure. When I was in the recovery department I was looked after very well and was given pain relief when I needed it, I was then taken to the ward and was given food and drink before I was allowed home the staff on the day surgery ward were lovely and treated me with respect.
