"Lord Wigram Ward"

I am so very grateful to the doctors in A&E and the wonderful team on the Lord Wigram Ward who took care of my son following a cycling accident which damaged his neck. The hospital was spotlessly clean and modern. It appeared unhurried and was easy to get around. All the staff were friendly and helpful, both on the telephone and when I arrived at the hospital out of visiting hours to see him. He was given a room of his own and I was allowed to stay with him throughout the day, which was reassuring as I was able to listen to the specialists' comments. The whole team were fantastic, orderlies and nurses, the physiotherapists, doctors and consultants. The care and gentleness with which my son was treated was delightful and everyone was so kind. Peter is recovering well and I hope this has been the only time we will need the services of this or any hospital but I would like to register my thanks for all you did to get him back on his feet!
