"You got it wrong again....."

About: Freeman Hospital

Please think twice about RVI, and Freeman as no care given. This is for the gastro team, liver team, and bowel team, how very wrong you got it...and the lies you told me. I was given a so called scan that they said was normal and also a pet scan and once again they said was normal, I have been in and out of hospital, with chronic pain and been shouted at, rudely spoken to and the care has been disgusting and nothing done. I have since got a second or should I say 3rd opinion as my body is exhausted with chronic pain. The other hospital collected all the scans and x rays from the Freeman and told me the Freeman knew fine well what was wrong with me. Why does this hospital, insist on fobbing me of all the time. If you make a complaint to the complaints department they do not like it and say you again, I only call them as I do not know who to turn to. Very disgusting what you have put me through. I need an operation after they have done biopsies.

Thank you for posting your feedback on NHS Choices. We are very disappointed that you were unhappy with the care delivered by the Liver, Gastroenterology and Bowel teams. The Trust strives to deliver the highest standard of care and patient experience at all times and we are saddened to hear you felt our communication with you in regards to written information and follow up appointment was not timely and frustrating. It is also disappointing to hear you felt that the care you have received was less than satisfactory. The Trust aims are to “put the patient at the heart of everything we do” and we feel this has not been achieved in your experience and we apologise for this. As your comment was posted anonymously, we are unable to look into your concerns in more detail but would be very keen to do so. As such, could you please contact a member of the Patient Relations Team on 0191 223 1382 to provide us with your details.
