"waiting times for an MRI scan"

I have been referred for an MRI scan for a mass in my forearm. letter written by my consultant on Set 25th, he said a 3 week waiting list. When i rang on Ocy 10th this was quoted as 6 week.s. And on Oct 17th anther tc provoked a 7 weeks repsonse. 7 weeks form now or 7weeks form the request on Sept 25th? In the meantime my mass could be metastasising andIi could be on my way to becoming yet another statistic in the NHS list of woes and poor performance. Not very satisfactory by anyone's standards?
