I'm disgusted to hear that the service provided by the NHS to style children's splints is to be no longer. Instead they will have just plain old boring white ones. Do you not realise that some of these children still have the potential to walk in years to come, and the designs make them want to wear them?
I'm sure that parents of these children will agree that having patterns that their children have chosen encourages the children to wear these splints. I know from experience that my son hated his splints, but because he had chosen the design on his splints, they were cool. Surely cost cutting in one department could well effect other departments if these children won't wear them. We as parents know how valuable these splints are to our children's future. Why not give us the opportunity to contribute towards these? Our lives are hard enough, without trying to make our children wear unfashionable splints.
"Crazy decision to stop designs for children's splints"
