"Seen to with speed and efficiency"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

I only had one concern regarding my care. The reception at the GP practice informed me of the investigation I would require and told me of an investigation that was wrong but similar in sound. The actual investigation was non-invasive; whereas the one I was told I was having was very invasive. When TRAQS phoned and told me that I had an appointment at the hospital and a date for a non-invasive investigation I was relieved. I only know the difference due to my medical background, most people in fairness may not have been aware of the error. Otherwise I cannot be happier with the speed and efficiency that I have been seen to from the GP + Hospital and TRAQS. Thank you

Dear Mole617

I am sorry that the information the reception at your practice gave you was incorrect and caused you worry. You may wish to discuss this with the practice manager as it may happen again to someone else if the error is not pointed out?

However, I am pleased to note that you found the service provided by the TRAQS team a good one and that we were able to relieve your concerns and arrange for you to be seen at the hospital.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us of your experience and we wish you well for the future.
