"They were very kind in going through what I should do"

About: Locala Community Partnerships CIC / Community COPD service

(as the patient),

I went for a COPD update at the health centre, they were all really good. I had to have a lung x-ray and then a follow up – I’d never been to the health centre before.

I saw the doctor first and then the nurse who gave me another inhaler and showed me how to use it and gave me a lot of other information. I have a son in Hong Kong, and a young grandson who I’d like to visit. The doctor and the nurse both reassured me I should not have a problem with long haul flights and were very kind in going through what I should do to make the journey less stressful for me with my COPD.
