"Atrocious wait for a follow up appointment"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

I had a colonoscopy on the 13th October 2014, I was supposed to have a follow up appointment within 4 weeks, it is now the 20th October, 10 weeks later, I still do not have an appointment date. It seems nobody is in a position to help me, I have contacted the secretaries and was told they do not make the appointments. This is a very poor system, heaven knows how long it will be before I am operated on. I worked for this health authority for 15 years and do not remember follow ups taking this long!
