"Biospy Results"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

It is nearly seven weeks since I had a biopsy at the gynaecology clinic and once again I still do not have the results, for the 3rd time. I was advised in March 2013 that this wait is not the norm and that the matter was being addressed, obviously not! I have tried phoning the number for the Service Manager, it either rings out or it is engaged, probably by other's chasing up their results. As I have said before, no problems with the clinic and the staff, everyone is very friendly and cheerful, but the delay in getting results is very unsettling.
