Discharged from Lincoln County Hospital over two weeks ago, with surgical hernias. My wife was told she would be seen in two weeks time in outpatients. Chasing it up daily, no appointment was ever made, no referral received. 48hours later, had to call 999 admitted as emergency, onto SEAU. Where apart from an NG drain not being observed correctly, having to change her soiled bedding for her whilst staff sat around giggling, and witnessing poor contamination prevention methods. My wife was taken on Sunday for an operation. Post op she went to Greetwell Ward where she is now and where good practice, good nursing and standards are by far a million times better.
