"Broken Wrist"

About: Darent Valley Hospital

I took my 9 year old Son to Children's A and E on the 15th October '14 with a broken wrist. Unfortunately he had only come out of plaster cast the day before and then managed to break his wrist again the next day!! The staff that we met at A and E, on Willow ward and at theatre were absolutely amazing. They were professional and reassuring and one of the theatre staff, I believe, went the extra mile and stayed on at the end of her shift to do the MUA. We felt that he was in very safe hands when he was taken down to theatre and very cared for when he was in A and E and Willow ward. He now has a few follow on appointments to make sure that everything is ok. I was very pleased with how he was looked after. Please covey my thanks to all the staff involved.

Oh what bad luck for your son breaking his wrist the day after he came out of another plaster cast, but boys will be boys! Thank you for taking the time to write this wonderful review about ours services, we do hope that your son is recovering well and hopefully no more plaster casts for a while after this one. With best wishes The Communication Team Darent Valley Hospital
